A/N: Just a short little thing. I don't write much anymore, and I don't expect much - though reviews would be nice [and helpful. This came to mind when I read the line of a fic - "One evening Wilson comes home looking down." - and thought the author meant it literally. Hope you like.

Looking Down

Wilson is looking down.

Most - the blind many, those fooled by the kindness of Doctor Wilson, by the charming facades of Jimmy, of James - would be shocked to hear of Wilson looking anything but up.

But House is certainly not many, or most, and is certain he is not fooled by those up-front fronts. He is certain because he knows Wilson has back-up fronts just for him.

House thinks he's gotten through most of those - which is why he is here now, looking over (at) Wilson looking down. He's gotten over Wilson's walls, and now -

Now he's on Wilson's roof.

And Wilson is looking down.
