This is my first fanfic so please give constructive criticism and please don't be rude. My spelling might be a wee bit off.
Chapter 1
My name is Clarissa Morgenstern, but I go by Clary Fray. I have a brother named Jonathon Morgenstern. He is really kind and overprotective. But I still love him. My mum Jocelyn Fray is a pain in the a** to live with. My father Valentine Morgenstern left when I was a baby, therefore I don't really know him. I am beginning my freshman year while Jon is starting his junior year.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I slapped it and was nearly asleep when Jon burst into my room," get up its the first day of school". I just grumbled and didn't move. All of a sudden I was very wet and cold. I knew what that was. I shout up and screamed what the hell Jon". I was beyond pissed." You wouldn't get up". He said with a shrug. I got up and pushed him out.
I got dressed in a T-shirt that said' you cant sit with us,' some skinny jeans, my leather thigh high boots and my leather jacket that stopped at my stomach. I put my hair that ended at my hip in a sideways pony tail.
When I was dressed, I went downstairs. My family was already at the table and were eating breakfast. "Hey Clare Bear," Jon said. "hey mom, Jon." I got some bacon and blueberry pancakes.
Once Jon and I were done eating, we got in his black mustang.
