Prologue

Hello there Harry Potter and Maleficent fans. This is my first time to write a Harry Potter/Maleficent crossover (and maybe not gonna be my last time) so please go easy on me. Now let's enjoy the show

P.S. I checked the wikia of Maleficent and it said that her last name is Faery

"Maleficent? Maleficent?" A squeaky voice called out as three pixies flew around the magical land of Moors with excitement. One of them, who was attired pink from top to bottom had a parchment in her hands

"Where could she be?" The blue one asked

"Well maybe she's..." Before the green one could finish, there was a faint thud behind them and..

"Boo!" The three screamed in fright as laughter erupted from the sixteen year old fairy behind them. She had long raven hair with huge wings and horns. "Hello there Knotgrass, Thistletwit, Flittle, why were you looking for me?" She asked curiously

"We have some exciting news!" Thistletwit said with a sing-a-song voice, beating either the two of her friends

Flittle glared at her. "I wanted to tell her that!"

"Well I'm sorry I didn't know"

"Didn't we discuss this already? I get to tell her that"

"No I do!"

"Enough, three of you!" Maleficent made her voice louder than intended to to stop them from having another pixie war. The last one didn't end very well. "What were you going to tell me?"

They cleared their throats and apologize before putting on the same huge grins on their faces. "You got accepted in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" They said (surprisingly) simultaneously

There was a moment of silence before "What?! Are you serious?!"

"Oh dear, here's the letter to prove it. An owl just came to deliver it to you" Knotgrass gave the letter to the shocked fairy, who immediately ripped it open without hesitation

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock,

Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Ms. Faery,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

With wide eyes and a dropped jaw, Maleficent looked at the pixies and then the letter. Then the pixies, then the letter. Then back and forth and back and forth till it felt like forever. Until finally,

"This is not a joke right? Please tell me this is the real deal!" A tone of giddiness was present in her sentence along with surprise and demand

"Minerva never jokes about her letters, Maleficent," Flittle stated, "If that letter was sent to your hands, she meant business"

Grinning like a cheshire cat, she leaped to the air with a loud whoop and cheering, soaring through the sky with giggles and spins. "I'm going to Hogwarts! Best day EVER! I should tell Stefan about this!"

And just like that the young fairy swooshed to the entrance of Moors, hoping to see her best mortal friend
