*Making Amends*

It was a cold afternoon in the middle of winter as she entered the cemetery silently and made her way past dozens of graves until she reached the one she wanted, located far in the back in a nice family plot. Quinn set down the flowers she had brought on Finn's grave. She pushed her blonde hair out of her eyes, took a seat on the grass and began talking.

It had been a few days and she had a good bit to say. "I know that I haven't visited you for a couple of days and I'm sorry for that. A lot has been going on in the last few years, and I know I should have visited you more, so I'm sorry that I haven't." She ran her fingers over Finn's headstone, brushing off the snow that covered it and staring at his name on it.

"I'm sure you probably already know this, but Puck and I got back together and we got married." Quinn paused. "We're having a baby, again. And this time, we're going to do right by him. We're better prepared to take care of a baby now." She looked at the ground. "When I found out I was pregnant, it reminded me of when I was pregnant with Beth and said you were her father. I'm sorry for lying to you and making your life a living hell."

She wiped her eyes as tears started to fall. "You were the first boy I ever loved, you know? You tried to get me to be a better person, and I'll always be grateful to you for that. You tried to make me understand there was more to life than cheerleading and I wish I had listened to you."

As the snow started to fall harder, Quinn got to her feet once more. "I know you probably already know this, but the baby, it's a boy. Puck and I have decided to name him Finn, after you, his best friend. We like to think that you would be okay with it. This way, we'll still have some part of you in our lives forever."

She ran her fingers over his headstone one last time then turned to leave and paused. "We miss you, Finn, and we'll keep looking after Rachel. We know you loved her." Quinn wiped her eyes again. "I have to go, Puck will be home soon. We love you, and think about you all the time. I'll see you in a few days on my next visit, Finn. Goodbye." Quinn left the cemetery, more lighthearted than she had felt in a while.

She had made her peace with him.

The end.
