"You know, your eye gets hurt a lot." Lavi scratched his cheek absently, crouching beside Allen where he lounged in the grass. "Do you think they know to aim for it?"
Allen sighed, leaning his head back against the trunk of the tree in the shade of which he lazed. "No, I think they're all just very lucky." He offered a tired laugh, gazing up through the leaves at the blue summer sky.
"Hey, close your eyes for a second."
He turned questioningly toward his companion, and then he did as he was told, brow furrowed in confusion.
Gently, Lavi pressed his lips to his left eye, smiling when he flinched in surprise. "A little TLC makes everything better faster, right?"
