Hawaii Five-0 is property of CBS and its creators.

Detective Danny Williams stood on the platform in his dress blues, his dog Bullet by his side. Next to him stood his partner and leader of the governor's Five-0 task force, also in his dress blues. The governor stepped to the podium and addressed the assembled reporters.

"Today, we are going to swear in a very special member of the Five-0 task force. May I present to you Bullet the dog."

Cameras clicked as Bullet stood there, doggy grin in place. The headlines were already all over the internet. "Rescue dog to join task force!"

The governor repeated the oath, and Danny answered in the affirmative for Bullet. Steve bent down to pin the badge on Bullet's collar. "See, I told you my dog was better than your cat," Danny whispered.

"Whatever." Steve straightened, and they both smiled and faced the cameras.

"Welcome, Bullet!" the governor proclaimed. The crowd went wild.

A/N: The consensus after Bring Your Dog to Work Day was Bullet needed a badge. I wasn't going to do it because it was unrealistic. Then I realized, this show dumped a nuclear bomb in the ocean and wrecked a guy's house. Realism was hardly a concern. So, here you got! Anybody interested in some Bullet on the Job stories?
