Oneshot

After Mcgonagall calls the teachers down.

Trust me, I didn't like being called down while I was busy grading. I have a rhythm, a method if you will, that I don't like being interrupted. Tonight, however, was one of those rare exceptions, where the interruption could change your life drastically, and became your number one priority. I knew Mcgonagall wouldn't call us down without reason, especially not to the second floor corridor. My cloak billowed around me as I left my office, dreading these moments greatly. My house of course was in no danger, but I had secretly been keeping an eye on a certain student, and was hoping that they were not harmed.

This student was definitely not my favorite, in fact she was in a family that many of my house's students despised. She was unfortunately showing something that many students do not, especially at meals. She was distanced, separated, and ignored. It was shocking, seeing how tight-knit this family was, but with one of them with the golden trio, the twins living only in their selfish pranks, and the oldest wrapped up in his prefect duties, it was probably to be expected. She was mentioned once in a rather... loud, message, but after that she faded. She seemed to blend with the crowd. Her marks were acceptable, but for someone that was certainly not trying to make friends, they were unexpected.

I had subconsciously stopped me where I needed to be, and I had barely registered the beginning of Mcgonagall's speech. I needed to listen, and cursed myself for being caught up in my mind. The heir had left a message, and had taken someone to the chamber. I was unable to convince myself to ask myself who was taken, but Madame Pomfrey asked for me, unknowingly.

"Who was taken?" I watched Mcgonagall's face get pale. Her eyes seemed to grow wide, than shrink once more before she answered.

"Ginny Weasley." The answer startled me, and I turned to leave at once. I couldn't take action, I would arise suspicion. I cursed myself for letting Lockhart take care of it. That git couldn't save a fly. I left for my office, grading papers once more as if nothing happened, but the message sat in the back of my mind.

Her Skeleton Will Lie In The Chamber Forever

Well what did you think? I know, a little OOC but too much? I was watching chamber of secrets and I noticed Snape arriving first, and remembered how he wasn't the bad guy and got to thinking... what was Snape thinking? This is my idea. :)
