Mary Jane Watson should have been the one to have fucking been killed off from the very beginning. The slut whom was just after Peter ... oh hell I don't even really know what her fucking game was in the very beginning. After all in the very beginning Peter Parker was written to be a very humble young man. He worked hard for his money ... he worked hard to take care of his Aunt May and finish high school ... and go to college.
Mary Jane Watson was a party girl. She was the slut of the late 60s. She was after a fucking good time and having fucking sex all the fucking time. Mary Jane Watson wasn't interested in her studies. Mary Jane Watson wasn't interested in earning a living. Mary Jane Watson wasn't interested in helping her family when they needed her too. Mary Jane Watson was just a fucking party slut.
Mary Jane Watson was the perfect unneeded character to kill off when they had to kill off a love interest of Peter's. He would have mourn for a little while ... but then he would have moved on with his life. He still had his studies ... he still had his work ethic. He would have found a love interest whom shared those with him ... and he would have been much happier.
I personally would have much rather had Peter end up with the original Betty Bryant ... you know the fucking twenty year old woman whom found it fucking easy to be dating a seventeen year old boy whom was still in fucking high school? You know the fucking full grown woman whom cried and used Peter any chance she could get. Also the fucking woman whom looked down on a seventeen year old girl (Liz Allen) as Liz finally started making eyes on Peter before the end of their high school career.
Betty whom hated Spiderman because she saw Spiderman was the one whom couldn't save her criminal brother? Betty whom made eyes with the better aged Ned Leeds ... then led poor Peter on a merry little chase as Peter was just acting like a teenager whom honesty had a popular high school girl finally look at him from all the years of abuse she laid on him? Peter whom remained loyal to Betty and never took Liz's crush on him seriously or even shown any interest in her at all.
Yes Betty Bryant would have been a better loyal love interest for Peter than fucking Mary Jane Watson. At least Betty (the original characterizion of Betty that is) wouldn't have toyed Peter along as she made sex eyes with every john that passed her way.
