Lily smiled as she watched James cradle their newborn son, Harry.
Love for her husband rose in her. Her pregnancy had been unexpected, in the middle of the war yet James had handled it so well. He had been so loving, fulfilling all her cravings and demands during these months. She might have cursed him while giving birth, but she appreciated him.
James handed Harry to the Healer and sat down. James started, "He's-"
Cutting him off, she kissed the life out of him.
"Blimey! Not that I'm complaining, but what was that for?" James asked, surprised.
"For being you."
