A/N: Hey, so this didn't turn out anything like I expected and it's kind of dodgy but the idea of Caleb's wedding just wouldn't leave me alone. Obviously, this is Caleb centric, so it's slightly different to my other fics which are all Reid centric. Hopefully I've pulled it off. As always, please review guys. It makes my day. Also, I am in the process of planning another sequel but you'll have to bear with me. I do have revision to do so it will take me a while to write and I won't have access to upload much during April. Anyway…now on with the story…
Pairings: Caleb/OFC, mentions of Chase/Reid and a lot of one sided Caleb/Reid
Warnings: Swearing, mentions of slash

Caleb slowly buttoned up his crisp white shirt, hands shaking. He didn't want this at all. What was the point of getting married when he didn't even love the girl he was marrying? Mary Jane was beautiful, of course, kind, gentle and affectionate – everything a man could wish for. But he didn't love her and he never would, because…Go on… say it, a nasty voice in his head snarled sadistically. Caleb flinched and grabbed his green silk tie from on his bed, attempting to knot it with trembling fingers and ignore the pain in his chest as he did so. It was no use. The pain just kept building. Surrounding him and suffocating him as it swept through his body in waves. It's been three years, he reminded himself harshly, and he's never coming back. The pain doubled at the mere thought and once again he was struck but the knowledge that he could never love Mary, because Mary wasn't him. Mary never would be and never could be him; Reid Garwin.
The boy he'd driven away.
Sure, Mary was blonde, blue eyed and always had a sharp comeback and mischievous grin, but the quality was just an echo of what he longed for. Just a stand-in for if Reid came back. Reid's never gonna fucking come back, he thought in another weak attempt of bringing himself back to reality. Caleb vaguely wondered how many times he could remind himself of the painful truth before he went insane as he put on the jacket of his suit. Reid had chosen Chase over him. He needed to accept that.
He wouldn't in the slightest.
He would always love Reid; just like Tyler would always be Baby Boy.
And there was nothing he could do about it.
Caleb sighed, and bit his lip before glancing in the mirror. His reflection stared back at him, wide eyed and distraught. He shrugged slightly. It would have to do. Hopefully he could just put it down to nerves – it was his wedding day after all. He shuddered at the thought, knowing that if Reid ever came back, (He's never coming back, his brain hissed) then he would drop his wife without a second of hesitation.
Caleb wasn't a cruel person.
He just loved someone who would never love him back.
