"ANYTHING FROM THE TROLLEY?"
There was a rumbling, clicking noise as the wheels of the trolley trundled along the Hogwarts Express.
Remus gave a sort of silent sob, while James tutted, his face gone a little white.
"It oughtn't be aloud," Sirius scowled, as James put a comforting arm around Remus's shoulders.
The Trolley Lady flung the Marauder's compartment door open, giving the four boys a warm smile, clutching the trolley full of sugary, chocolatey treats.
"Would you like anything from the trolley, dears?" She asked kindly.
"No," said James stiffly. "No, we certainly wouldn't."
"Yeah, come back when you've got sushi and romaine lettuce!" Sirius snapped.
The Trolley Lady looked hurt. Her kind old face fell.
Remus hesitated. He loved his friends to death but he hated when they were rude to people. He hated seeing the people so sad because they'd been shun by James Potter and Sirius Black, the hottest men alive.
"I would like some pumpkin juice, please!" Remus said bravely, handing the lady a couple of sickles.
James and Sirius gasped, but the woman's face lit up at the polite, handsome, beautiful young man, and she beamed as she handed over the pumpkin juice. She shuffled on down the train.
"You... You dentist." Sirius looked shaken, backing away from Remus in horror. "You cheeseburger full of calories!"
James eyes were welling up with tears.
Remus thought fast, straightening his floppy vintage hat. "My friends," he smiled, looking charming in his red lipstick and pearl earrings. "I am not going to drink this. Haven't you noticed how slim Amos Diggory's been getting? We do not want competition! Let's tell him this is diet pumpkin juice!"
Remus kicked himself. Now HE was being mean. He decided he wouldn't follow his plan through.
JJ and Siri grinned at his plan, and Peter fell down from the trains roof.
