"Gimli and his bets, I wonder why Legolas bothers to wager with him, look what he got him into this time" Aragorn snorted, as he stared at the White Tree.

Standing at the gates, staring at her beloved husband, Queen Arwen was worried.

"Elessar," she called gently, as she gracefully moved toward him. As she came closer, she could see that his hazel eyes were dull and emotionless. Moving her hand to cup his face she spoke softly, "You know how Legolas is under Gimli' influence."

"I know," Aragorn sighed, and added with concern, "That is what I am afraid of."

"What did Gimli do this time?" Arwen asked.

"He challenged Legolas to see who could kill the most goblins. When it was done he told him that he beat him by a margin of two." Aragorn replied. Grinning he remembered the time in Helm's Deep as Gimli and Legolas argued over who won the contest.

"And how exactly, did Legolas get himself wounded?" Arwen asked staring at her husband.

"Apparently, one of the goblins that Legolas claimed that he killed, was alive after all, he stabbed him in the back, and lucky for him that Gimli was near, killing the goblin." Aragorn explained.

"I think that you should get involved and stop them before this kills someone." Arwen suggested, with a grin.

"If I get myself involved, I am doomed."
