"Addie! No!" Kurt screamed as helplessly watched his daughter run across the road. Pushing his way through he tried to get to her but it was no good, it was too busy.
"Hey! Why did you say all that horrible stuff to my daddies? You big meanie!"
The tall, well built man looked at her in shock. By now, Blaine and Kurt had just got out of the hustle and bustle of the crown and were making their way across the street to Addie.
"You cheeky little-"The man raised his fist and Addie screamed. Kurt and Blaine ran to her cries and pick her up to the safety of her arms.
"Stop! Call us whatever you want just leave her out of it!" Kurt screamed as Addie help on to him close.
"This is why you people shouldn't be allowed to adopt! She is rude and impolite; she needs a mother figure in her life!"
Many other people were now gathered around the commotion.
"Look, we're sorry, she knows not to do that-"Blaine babbled on. "Go home faggot!" someone in the crowd yelled, interrupting Blaine.
The crowd laughed as Kurt and Blaine looked to each other then looked to Addie, still cradled in Kurt's arms.
"There is a child here, watch your language!" Blaine said sternly. "I can say whatever the hell I want; she is a lost cause anyway thanks to you two fairies"
Kurt could tell Addie was scared; she was quivering in his arms. "Blaine we should just leave"
Blaine turned to Kurt, obviously terrified by all the drama.
"Yeah go home, you don't belong here, none of you do. You're all going to burn in hell!"
The man yelled as they began walking away. Blaine ticked. That was too far. He turned back around and swung his fist at the man's head. The man dodged.
Kurt and Addie screamed as he tried to punch him back. Blaine sunk a punch in the man's stomach and ran with Kurt and Addie as he was bent over in agony.
They all got in the car and began driving home, it was silent until Addie fell asleep in the back and Kurt broke the silence.
"I'm so sorry Blaine, I just took my eyes off her for a minute and...It was all such a blur!"
Blaine looked over to Kurt, hands shaking on the steering wheel.
"It's not your fault. Anyway, it could have been worse" Kurt took in many deep breaths but he was still shaking. "I don't care about all the abuse and comments I get, I wouldn't change anything in the world right now. I love you"
Blaine said with a smile. "I love you too Blaine" Kurt said as Blaine planted a kiss on his cheek.
