A woman named Cecelia was born into a life whose fate could not be altered. She was destined to be the mother of a very powerful princess. As she grew older, Cecelia fell in love with a man named Maximillion Pegasus. They grew closer and eventually decided to marry. On the day of their wedding, right after the ceremony, Cecelia fell ill and died. Or so everyone thought.

Because of her fate, Cecelia couldn't be with Maximillion Pegasus. She instead met a regular man and settled down. During that time period a demon named Yoko Kurama came to her to fulfill her fate. He took a glowing orb and put it inside Cecelia's womb. She now was pregnant with a half demon.

When her husband asked, she said the baby was his, but after the child was born he saw that she didn't look anything like him. This continued until the girl was 2 years old. Her mother, Cecelia, named her child Kara, which means sun spirit or spirit of the sun in Egyptian. She never told Kara what she was.

As Kara grew up, her father became abusive towards her. He became increasingly violent as she got older. When she was thirteen he turned on Cecelia and killed her for protecting Kara. That led Kara to run away.

While running, Kara met a man who called himself Shuichi Minamino. He told her she was a half demon and his daughter. After explaining how he was forced to become a human child to survive, he convinced her of the truth. He indeed was Yoko Kurama inside of the human Shuichi Minamino.

He then began to train her, first with the art of physical combat, then with her demonic powers. She discovered she could control four of the five elements of nature, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. She had not mastered Metal yet. Also, Kara learned she could read minds and perfected her telepathic abilities.

When Kara became 15 years old, Kurama told her to go to Domino City. There she was to find her brother, the other twin. He would be very different from her, but they will instinctively know each other when they meet.

So Kara set off to Domino City.

How was it? A good beginning? I have a lot written up, but it might take a bit for me to type it out. Reviews always welcome! Arigato Gozaimasu!
