Memorial Fic

In loving memory of Laura Rudie

I'm turning Into the blue

Tell me a secret

I will tell you mine

Tell me about desire you hide inside

As this chick got ready for her tournament, she practiced her moves.

This was it, the moment of truth.

The 2005 Olympics: Women's Diving Division

Tea had anticipated her chance to shine.

There is so much that we should have done

I was insecure

Now I'm strong

Exactly one year ago, Tea was the center of attention at swim meets, pubic swim dates, and other local things and she still was.

I'm never gonna be able to pull this off. I have always wanted to be here ever since I quit dancing.

She'd never be able to land a perfect dive.

Diving, whatever it may take

I keep on trying

Diving into you Diving,

knowing it was you I keep on trying

Diving into you

After the first 12 ladies went, Tea was up.

I think I can pull it off!

Surprisingly, she did it.

Now for the final score

3rd place Felicia Neys

2nd place Mavril Navine

1st place. . .

Hurry up already!

Tea Gardner with the perfect score of 100!

Can you please do another dive for us, Ms. Gardner?

So she did, but when she did there was a moment of silence.

She lost control of herself and drowned. Nobody knew how or why but Tea was known to do insane things.

I'm turning into the blue

We are rising

Celebrate the light

It was you who showed me how to fly

To this day she was an idol to all future divers.

Another year passed.

Kaiba decided to visit her grave.

Kaiba was Tea's number one fan.

The tombstone read:

Tea Gardner

Champion diver, adored by all.

June 8, 1989 – March 28, 2004

You will always be with us

Tears formed behind the young man's eyes as he finished reading the inscription.

Tea will always be adored by the young and elderly, but will never be forgotten.

AN: OMG! This was dedicated to a girl named Laura Rudie. The dates on Tea's tombstone are from Laura's life. I miss her and want her back, but I finally encouraged myself to make a memorial fic. I know this story was confusing but read it a second time, maybe you'll feel the sorrow that I felt when Laura died.
