Just a fluffy little ficlet- enjoy!

Alec wakes up before Magnus, as he almost always does, unless he's had a particularly taxing day prior. He allows himself time to slowly will himself into opening his eyes and waking up, knowing he doesn't have to be anywhere.
He wonders briefly whether he should try to slip out of bed and make coffee for himself and Magnus. Alec recently realized that despite his lack of desire to drink the fancy sugary coffee Magnus prefers, it does smell wonderful. He also discovered that he likes waking Magnus with their coffee already prepared occasionally, because it helps the warlock get going faster, but decides against it today.
There is a lot Alec has realized since he started dating Magnus. Such as how much he enjoys the domesticity of a life like the one he leads now. Well, the life he leads when he has a day off at least. Shadowhunting still keeps him pretty busy.
On days such as this one though, he loves lying in bed drowsy and sleep hazed. Being able to smell Magnus and feel him against his back, or under his arm, depending. This morning Magnus had his head resting on Alec's shoulder and a leg shimmied between Alec's own. Magnus's breath puffed steadily against his neck and one tan hand was splayed across Alec's raggedy night shirt. The covers were draped up to his stomach. They held in a stuffy warmth that would be really annoying to try to fall asleep in, but was lulling as you woke up.
Alec loved everything about mornings like this; from the lounging in bed to the almost-noon breakfasts. He loved the bad T.V. and lazy shower sex. He loved taking his time to stretch, and Magnus's messy hair, and the way Magnus practically hung off of him when Alec made him get up for food.
He could share with Magnus all the little things that couples shared. Getting to know someone's habits and tendencies in the morning, when they are the most vulnerable and the least filtered, and knowing they were comfortable enough to share them with you, was special. This type of relationship was something Alec never thought he'd have, but was something that now he couldn't imagine living without. It was weird, if he thought about it, that if he got the urge to kiss somebody, there would be a willing mouth to gladly receive it.
Magnus nuzzled a little further into Alec's neck.
Alec had assumed that he would either end up alone or in a straight relationship that he didn't want to be in, and had accepted a long time ago that that was just the it was going to be. It sucked, but such is life. Magnus was more than he ever could have dreamed of. He was an anchor if he needed comfort, and Alec could depend on him if he needed to laugh. Alec had someone to complain to, and share stories and passions with. He gave Alec the strength and inspiration to do things he had never imagined himself doing. The courage to be open and honest with both himself and the world. They had grown to depend on each other, and now, looking back, Alec doesn't know how either of them ever made it by without the other.
And as he lay waiting for Magnus to stir, with familiar fingers lightly clutching the fabric of his shirt and a body rolling slightly farther onto his own, Alec thought of how nice it was to be this close to someone.
