Clemont and his sister, Bonnie lived happily with their parents. Their father was an inventor and Clemont was inspired by his father. Clemont sometimes looked at pictures of girls on his computer and would look at them out of the window of his gym with a smile on his face. It caused Bonnie to think "My brother needs a girlfriend". But he enjoys looking at them rather than dating them. One day he saw his mother packing. "Mom, where are you going?" asks Clemont. "Clemont, I got a job as a scientist in Sinnoh. I'll be living there" she says. Bonnie walks in the room too, "Mom do you still love us?" she asks. She hugs Bonnie and Clemont, "Yes I do" she says. "I'll miss you two, and I will call your brother once I get the time" she says. She gives them a kiss, "I will be gone in the morning, good night" she says. Clemont and Bonnie say good night and goodbye to their mother.
That night, Bonnie walks into Clemont's room crying. "What's wrong, Bonnie?" asks Clemont. He sits up in his bed and hugs Bonnie. "Mom is leaving tomorrow and dad is leaving tomorrow night" she says. "It's alright, we'll be left without parents and I will take care of you" he says. They wake up in the morning to dad's cooking, they enjoy a delicious breakfast. "Clemont, Bonnie I will help Professor Juniper and Fennel in Unova with my inventions" he says. "So I will leave tonight" he says. They spend the day with their father. Then the next day, Clemont was alone with Bonnie. He couldn't stay home because of his duties as a gym leader. Bonnie missed her parents and cried. "Clemont will you call mom or dad" she asks. "Yes Bonnie" he says.
He couldn't help but take Bonnie with him so he can take care of her and keep a close eye on her like how his parents once did. He figured out Bonnie was crying because she missed mother and father, so he let Bonnie keep his pokémon to help to take her mind off of the loss of their parents. She hugged Clemont's pokémon and felt better. That night, Clemont used his robotic arms as he follows mom's soup recipe. They sit down and enjoy some soup. Bonnie watched TV as Clemont read a book and thought about his next invention. Clemont smiled at the girl in the illustration of his book. Bonnie looks at him, "Why are you smiling?" she asks. Clemont blushes as he closes the book, "Oh nothing" says Clemont. Knowing Bonnie's "You need a date".
Then Clemont takes a shower, and puts on his pajamas. He helps Bonnie get ready for bed. They go to bed. The next morning, Bonnie helps Clemont in the gym. First they clean up and battle a few trainers. Bonnie and Clemont then walk to the store to buy food for the week. Bonnie then says "I love you, Clemont". Clemont looks at her with tears in his eyes, "I love you too". He hugs her with tears running down his face. They happily walk home, Clemont washes dirty clothes and Bonnie clings to his legs. He couldn't help but rub her on the head. Afterwards he goes back to the gym. Clemont pulls out his laptop. Mother is calling. "Hello Clemont. How are you doing?" she asks. "I'm doing well. Bonnie misses you" he says. "Aww I miss you guys too" she says. "Bonnie look it's mom!" says Clemont. Bonnie walks over to Clemont's laptop.
"Hi mom" says Bonnie. "Hi sweetie, your brother told me you missed me" says their mother. "Yes I do, now I can spend time with him now." says Bonnie. "I'm getting her to help out in the gym" says Clemont. "How wonderful, it's messy anyways" she says. "Do you remember to clean up?" she asks him. "Yes mom, I'm taking my showers in the morning now" he says. "You are a growing boy. And showers daily is good enough for you especially since you are a teenager" she says. "But I'm so proud of you" she adds on. "Thanks mom" says Clemont. "Goodbye, mom" says Bonnie. Clemont closes his laptop. Bonnie sits on Clemont's lap. Clemont has the duties of a parents ahead of him.
