A/n: something short and fluffy for Valentines Day although it is a little late.

Sweeney watched her sleep. He watched her bare arms and shoulders wrap tightly around his midsection. Her plump lips parted and pressed lightly against his shoulder in sleep. He debated moving her down stairs in to her own bed but didn't have the heart to lose her warmth by his side. His fingers delicately moved a curl from her pale face. The moon light poured through the dirty window and cascaded over her face. He pulled his hand away from her face. Nellie's soft face was completely void of lines and worry. She was soft and peaceful in sleep. Her tiny hands gripped him tightly as she slept.

Her eyes fluttered slight. She stared at him slightly and then drifted back in to sleep. Her hands wound their way in to his messy curls. She curled her fingers tightly in to his locks and sighed deeply in sleep. Sweeney tried to hold back a smile but it crept onto his face. His hesitant hands gently caressed her bare back. She sighed slightly as his warm hands pressed against her chilled skin. He pulled her close to him.

Soft grey light trickled through the window, the street below started to come alive. He pulled her closer as his eyes fluttered open to look down at the woman in his arms.

"Mrs. Lovett." He spoke softly. "Nellie." Her eyes opened slowly and stared up at him. He sank in to the deep chocolate of her caring eyes. She smiles and nuzzled her cold nose in to his shoulder.

"Good morning." She smiled against his skin. Her smile shrank as he removed his hand from her shoulder. She wiggled out from his arms and sat up "I'll leave you to your peace Mr. T"

He laced her arms around her waist and pulled her back on to the bed. He pushed his lips to her ear "No Sweeney this morning Nell?" He kissed her neck. He felt her melt in to him. "Now let's try this again."

"Good morning Sweeney." She said with a soft giggle, falling back in to the mass of blankets.

"I have something to tell you." He said pulling her close.

"Uh huh." She mumbled getting lost in his scent.

"I want oatmeal for breakfast." He said in a husky tone. Nellie looked up at him and smacked him slightly on the chest.

"That isn't very funny, I thought you were, oh well I guess I'll be making you,"

"I love you." He said, cutting her idle prattle off.

"What did you said?" She looked up, her eyes glittering with tears.

"I said I love you." He kissed her bare shoulders.

"That is what I thought you said. I love you too." She kissed him softly.

"Now about my oatmeal?"

A/n: cute and fluffy no? Kind of out of character but it is alright it is for Valentines Day. ENJOY
