I don't own Kuroshitsuji, that is Yana's work. I'm just having fun.
The Ceremony. It was everyone's dream to be part of it, it was when the Dispatch Officers picked up their students, and this one was no different, however there was a female in the hopefuls. She was told that her being picked as a mentee was slim to none, and that she was a fool, but it was allowed when she proved that she could hold her own.
"Caroline Varella Step forward!" The director of the board stated simply.
Caroline stepped forward to the front, presenting herself. Her eyes wide behind her glasses.
"Hehehe." A creepy chuckle started to go. "Hmm she looks familiar, like I've seen her before." A reaper with long silver hair, and wearing black robe said walking into the room.
Caroline looked at the Director in confusion. "Sir?"
"This is Adrian Crevan our legendary reaper, he will be showing you around and to your trainer." The Director stated simply.
Caroline bowed slightly to both. "Thank you for guidance to my Mentor, Mr. Crevan."
"I find it most entertaining, would you like to see one of my pretty coffins today?" He asked, with a very creepy grin. "Oh and you can call me Undertaker, everyone does."
"I prefer a mocha wood with an emerald green lining." Caroline said happily.
"Hmm, well look we are at your mentors office. Fair warning he is a little stiff." Undertaker cackled, before simply dumping her into the office.
Caroline squeaked in surprise as she stumbled a few steps. "Geez, Undertaker..." She pouted slightly.
"You must be my charge." A voice said from a desk behind her. "My name is William T. Spears."
"Caroline Varella, Mr. Spears." Caroline bowed slightly deeper to him, but she didn't bare her neck. It's as if he was challenging her, it felt like it.
He raised an eyebrow. "You may be my charge but you will not receive special treatment. I expect you here at 6 am every morning. I do not do overtime so I expect your assignments don't by 5."
"Yes sir." Caroline said calmly, she knew he was setting boundaries but there was some she knew she was going to push a bit.
"Furthermore, we will not be going on the field first thing. You have to go through tests with me. I will test your knowledge from your studies and you will get every question right or it will be back to the books for three months." He said simply.
Caroline sighed but she nodded. "Right."
He eyed her. "Do you wish to be here, because if not you can just go."
"Oh that's not the problem. Paperwork on the other hand, a necessary evil that I hate with a passion." Caroline said.
"Get used to it." He snapped, he stood with a sheet of paper. "I want you to sit here and fill out what the major events are in reaper History."
Yay! It's complete! Now to continue!
