Natsu and I had been together for a long while; the guild knew and accepted it. But with the challenge ahead, I hope they don't take it back…

I don't own Fairy Tail, but I do own the storyline. :P

Lucy P.O.V.

I entered the guild soaking wet from the pouring rain. I looked around and saw that the room was abnormally empty. Levy called me and I walked over to the bar. "Where is everyone, it's so empty it's creepy… and why are you behind the bar?" I said shivering while water from my hair dripped down my face. Levy noticed and pulled out a towel from behind the counter. "You might want to change your clothes Lucy, you'll catch a cold!" she smiled. Guided to the back room, Levy gave me some extra clothes and another towel. She sat on a box while I changed. "Ever since we won the Grand Magic Games, we've gotten a ton of requests. Natsu even went on one!" Once she mentioned Natsu, I immediately stopped to listen. "Natsu never told me he was going on a mission! Usually we go on missions as a team…" I pouted; somewhat hurt that he didn't tell me.

"There were enough requests on the board for each guild member to take two, and they probably did. So many, that I was left to man the bar while Mira went on a few missions." She explained as she took the wet clothes from me. We exited the back room and went back out to the guild hall. Levy brought us each a mug of hot chocolate and we sat and talked. "What are you going to do while everyone's gone Levy?" I asked, looking around at the empty room.

"Hmm, I don't know Lu-chan…" she looked at her mug and then looked at me. "We should have a sleep over!" She said, almost jumping out of her seat.

I giggled, "Sure, we haven't had a real sleep over in a long time! This should be fun!"

Levy looked out the window, "I don't want to have to walk all the way home to get my clothes though…"

"I have some clothes you can borrow Levy." I reassured. Levy smiled then ran to the back counter to grab a large umbrella and we both walked back to my apartment.

I woke up in the night feeling sick to my stomach and I ran into the bathroom. During my hurling, I noticed my hair being held up by soft, fragile hands. As I finished, somewhat relieved, Levy asked "Lucy, how long has this been happening for?" I looked at her, her face covered in worry. Is something horribly wrong with me? I thought, am I going to die?

Afraid of the answer, I stuttered, "A-about a w-week, why? Is something wrong with me!?" I started to cry. Levy took my hands, "No Lucy, nothing's wrong with you! When do you usually throw up like this?" she asked. I started to calm down. "Around one or two in the morning." I said as I went to brush my teeth. I heard Levy sigh behind me, I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach, something was wrong, I could tell. I've never heard Levy sigh like that before. "Do you think I have a stomach bug or something?" She grabbed my hand and sat me down on my bed. "Lucy…"She started, "have you and Natsu… engaged in any…sexual activity?" She asked. I felt the blood rush to my face. "M-maybe…yes?"

Levy pinched the bridge of her nose, "Lucy, please tell me you and Natsu used protection!"

"Protection?" I questioned

"Did you ever get the birds and the bees talk!?" She asked. I looked down, almost ashamed.

"N-No, my mother died before she was able to give it to me and none of the servants did."

Levy explained the basics of the birds and the bee's within a good ten minutes.

After her explanation I put my face in my hands and started to cry. "S-So you t-think I'm…"

"It's only a hunch Lucy; you could just have a stomach bug." Levy reassured. "How about tomorrow morning, we go to the doctor and find out for sure okay?"

I agreed and we both went back to our beds but I couldn't sleep. The whole idea of what I might be carrying, how it could change my life… could I really be… pregnant?
