Being the fifth Marauder was no easy task, especially when you are a girl. My name is Lexie and I am James Potter's twin sister. My brother and I are close, although he would never admit it. Because we are so alike, we attracted the same friends and those friends became everything. We ate lunch together, we hung around together and then we became the Marauders. We were pranksters as such, loved by Gryfindors and hated by Slytherins. Most importantly, we were best friends.

"James, should we go for a swim?" Sirius asked my brother. James nodded. We headed towards the great lake. Good thing I had shorts under my skirt and a vest top on. James was the first one to reach the water. Then Remus and then Peter. Sirius lingered beside me as I peeled off my outer clothing.

"Why aren't you already in the water Padfoot?" I asked, not exactly trusting him. I bent over to put my clothes in my bag and that was when I felt a pair of strong arms around me. "Sirius put me down!" I screamed as he hoisted me over his shoulder and carried me to the lake. He then threw me in and I screamed. It was freezing! All I could hear was the guys laughing. I went towards Sirius and hit him playfully on the arm. He smiled his crooked half smile that usually made girls weak at the knees. Lily Evans and I were the only girls to not take notice.

"Sirius, I was planning to get into the water myself. I am not a cripple, therefore I can walk," I said. He just shrugged and I rolled my eyes.

"You love being carried by me, don't you Lexie?" he remarked teasingly and James coughed. I looked at him and he shrugged.

"No I don't, Padfoot," I simply said and he looked down. I dived down to the bottom until I was under his feet. I grabbed his foot and pulled him underneath. His reaction was hilarious. He splashed around like a madman. When we hit the surface again, he coughed and spluttered.

"What was that for?" he exclaimed and I smirked.

"That, love, was payback," I retorted and Remus laughed. Sirius pretended to huff so I put one arm around him and hugged him. He laughed and hugged me back. Then I heard wolf whistles.

"You and Potter are getting close Black!" I heard Evan Rosier call. Anger boiled up inside of me and I wasn't the only one. The guys and I made our way out of the water and towards the Slytherins. I knew this wasn't going to be a pleasant situation.

Evan looked at me and smirked. I didn't like it.

"Nice body Potter, mind giving me a go?" he said and that was when James' fist connected with his jaw. Snape pulled out his wand and I laughed.

"What are you going to do Snivellius? It's five against two and you aren't exactly the best in a fight," I remarked and his lip curled. Evan took a step towards us but Sirius squared up to him.

"Touch her and I'll blow your hand off!" Sirius snarled and I was shocked at his protectiveness. Evan backed off.

"Get lost you filthy snake," James growled and the two twats left.

"Sirius, what was that about?" I asked confused. I could understand James but not him.

"Doesn't matter," he mumbled and walked off followed by James and Peter. Remus lingered behind with me. He put his arm around me and hugged me. We were both soaked.

"I think he likes you," Remus blurted out and I shook my head. No way would he like me.

"He doesn't, and you know it. He likes messing around with girls and I'm not like that," I said and Remus just nodded.

"You should just accept the fact that he likes you," he said and I shrugged. "Let's go find the guys."

"No there is a certain Black brother I wanna see," I said with a wink. Remus shook his head and went to find the other marauders.
