It was hot, too hot. With an annoyed sigh [Name] kicked off the covers that were suffocating her legs. Great, now she was cold. [Name] hated these kind of nights, the ones where you're either really hot or really cold. Grumbling, she yanked the covers back over herself.
"Stupid humidity," She cursed. Of course, she was hot again. There was just no pleasing her tonight was there?!
Trying a new method. [Name] just stuck her legs out from under the blankets. This seemed to .work, until she got paranoid that a ghost was going to drag her under the bed by her leg. She tried to brush that thought aside, and go to sleep, but of course she couldn't. Deciding that it was the position that she was sleeping that was making her restless, she started to move about the bed. Rendering it useless, [Name] roughly sat up in anger. Why couldn't she get to sleep?! She looked down at her swollen stomach, oh yeah, that's why.
"Would you lie still," Her husband hissed from beside her.
"I can't sleep," [Name] mumbled. "It's too hot, but when I take the blankets off then it gets too cold. Ghosts are going to pull me under the bed, and I can't get comfortable because of the twins." She pointed down at her pregnant belly.
Hidan wrapped his arms around [Name]'s waste and pulled her back to the bed. Throwing the blanket to the ground, he pulled her against his naked chest. With the warmth of Hidan and the coolness of the room, [Name] was perfect.
"Better?" He mumbled.
"Almost. What if a ghost tries to abduct me?" The wife giggled.
"Then I'll kick its ass." Hidan said simply. [Name] should've expected that, she rolled her eyes.
The couple was engulfed in silence, and [Name] could tell that her husband was asleep by his steady breathing. She was no longer too hot or cold nor did she fear a sudden, and very unlikely, ghost attack. The twins had settled down enough for her to get comfortable, and that's exactly what she was.
Just as [Name] was about to fall into the bliss of dreamland, she felt something wet fall down her legs followed by a stabbing pain.
"Hidan," [Name] jabbed him in the ribs with her elbow. "Hidan wake up,"
"What is it now?!"
"My water just broke." [Name] said calmly.
"Shit!"
