"It feels strange to be going back after all we've been through." Hermoine mused and she Harry and Ron lugged their trunks onto the train once again. Harry and Ron had not really wanted to come back and finish school. But Hermoine had insisted they finish their education properly. Harry decided come along but only because of Ginny how would be in the same year as him, and Ron because of Hermoine. And also (although they didn't like admitting it) because they were all a bit daunted by facing the world and having work.
Faces pressed themselves up against the glass as they walked down the train to find an empty carriage. Ron spotted Luna up ahead in an empty carriage at the back and headed towards her.
Ron snorted, "you realise we will be taking classes with her now as well, don't you? Moine, why did u make us do this?"
"Well, if I remember correctly," retorted Hermione, "you didn't want to by yourself, so don't blame me."
"I can blame you if I want! You're my girlfriend, do you just expect me to go a whole year without you?"
"Oh, Ronnald, do grow up!"
Harry had half expected their bickering to stop now that they were going out, but he should have expected better.
They slid the door open to Luna's compartment and hoisted their heavy trunks onto the baggage racks. Luna switched her gaze from the Quibber, which she was reading and onto the three of them. She smiled serenely up at Harry who sat across from her as Ron and Hermoine sat together next to Luna, Ron elbowing Hermoine and hermoine attempting to playfully knock Ron off his seat.
Luna rolled her orb-like eyes at Harry, who sighed.
Dragging her trunk, Ginny came hurrying into the compartment and sweeping her long red hair around her to keep it from falling into her eyes. Her eyes locked on Harry and a smile broke across her face. Harry jumped out of his seat a huge grin on his face and pulled Ginny into a hug and then went in to kiss her.
