Chapter one
-Leena's B&B 9:45 a.m. June 2, 2011
DING DONG! Claudia jumped up from eating her breakfast and ran to the door, pushing Pete away before he could answer it. "Geez Claude. Did your new edition of 'Hackers Daily' come!?" Pete said teasingly as he rubbed his shoulder. Claudia gave him a teasing stare, fixed her hair and slowly opened the door. "Age of da' geek baby!" Hardison reached out to give Claudia a hug, but she jumped on him before he could. "I can't believe that you're really here!" Claudia jumped off Hardison to see a very stunned looking Pete. "Pete you okay?" Claudia looked around to see what he was starring at. She followed his gaze which ended at the one and only PARKER! She slowly walked up to Pete, and placed a small peck on his lips followed by a surprising smack on the face, to which she gave that signature Parker smile, turned, and calmly left the room. "Okay, that hurt." Pete exclaimed rubbing his cheek which was now very red. Pete looked around to see everyone's reactions. Hardison was standing in awe at the smack, and Pete could tell by the expression on Claudia's face, and the fact that she was covering her mouth that she was trying hard not to laugh. "Okay so I think it's about time you introduce everyone don't you?" Claudia nodded trying to calm down and stop thinking about what just happened. "Shouldn't you guys wait for me?" Pete spun around to see Myka walking down the oak steps. She was wearing a navy blue v-neck and black skinny jeans with a brown belt. She had on the orange and black toe socks Pete had gotten her for her birthday last year. Her brownish-red hair was in a tight messy bun held in by a black ribbon. "Myks! When did you get back from Florida?" Pete asked running over to her and giving her a small peck on the cheek. They had been dating for six months now and had not told anyone yet. They tried to keep it a secret but it was kind of difficult when Leena would walk in on them making out. Pete and Myka walked down the stairs toward Claudia, Pete's hand on Myka's hip. "Sooo, what's going on with you two little love monkeys, huh?" Claudia asks them while she and Hardison made mocking kissy faces. Pete quickly took his hand off Myka's hip and looked away, and as soon as he did Myka realized that she had been blushing and smiling, so she too looked away. "Well then, we will talk later." Claudia said looking at Pete and Myka. "Now as for you guys you probably want to get some rest. There is a hotel about 30 miles from here." Hardison nodded, gave Claudia a big hug and they all started out the door. "PETE, MYKA, CLAUDIA HELP!" The three looked at each other and ran out the door towards Arties scared voice. They finally got to the back of the B&B where Artie was when Pete chuckled and let out a long sigh. Hardison came zooming around the corner, "What the- P-Parker! Stop sniffing Artie!" Parker looked up at Hardison and backed away from Artie. She looked down and glared at him walking over to Hardison. He grabbed her arm and dragged her back to their van. "I didn't try to hurt him, I swear!" Parker yelled, trying to loosen Hardison's grip on her arm. Hardison stopped and opened the big black door. "Get in the van!" Hardison shoved Parker in and slammed shut the door. With a quick wave goodbye to Claudia, Hardison opened the passenger side door and hopped in. Within seconds the big black van was rolling down the drive way, dust trailing behind.
