A/N: Hey everyone! My first HP story is finally up, and my computer is the best, now that we fixed it. I really hope you like this first chapter, no matter the length. Tell me what you think and I hope to have at least two reviews. I don't care what it is: advice, cheers, diss, etc. You name it. Lmao... :P
Her hood covering her face, and her head down, she walked into the nearest pub. She did not dare look up and uncover her face, for she was the most wanted witch next to the Dark Lord. She strolled through small groups of people, her hands folded neatly behind her back. Glancing around, not a stroke of fear within her, she sat down. Many witches and wizards glanced at her hooded form in curiosity, but none approached. Her dark hair fell around her face as she looked down at her folded hands. She had come here under her Masters orders, and could not defy. The mark upon her arm did not question her loyalty. She listened hard to the many whispered conversations.
"...heard she was mad and went on a rampage..."
"...You-Know-Who's loyal servant is who that woman is..."
"...Dumbledore has gotten many people to keep young Harry safe, what with Albus dead and all, he can't do much to protect himself on his own..." Her head perked up at this, and few noticed her sudden movement. She drifted closer to the table nearest them and tried to listen to what the man had been saying, but he had already quit talking about Harry and Dumbledore, and walked out of the pub, smiling and waving at the woman he had been talking to.
She followed him out, easily blending into the darkness. Her hand pulled out her wand from her robes, and she stopped just behind the man, having caught up with him. "Silencio," She whispered, and his tuneless humming came to an abrupt halt. She grabbed him by the neck, and dragged him into an alley. "Lumos," and the tip of her wand ignited. She pulled back her hood, and felt the rain cascade down her face. The mans eyes widened considerably, and she saw as he mouth her name,
"Ravenna Peverell..."
She smiled, her blazing green eyes full of anything but remorse or pity. "Now," She murmured, lifting the spell that had silenced him. "What were you saying about dear Albus and Harry?"
He shook his head, but Ravenna merely smiled. "It doesn't matter. I'll get my answer either way... Crucio."
The man doubled over, screaming, and fell to his knees. Ravenna stopped, her innocent smile replaced with a hateful sneer. He glared up at her, the water on his face mixing with his sweat. Lightning flashed, lighting up Ravenna's face in an odd and fascinating way.
"I will never tell you!" He gasped.
"Wrong answer." She whispered, raised her wand, and pure fear washed over his features as a flash of green light filled the alley, a loud crack was heard, and she was gone, leaving his body on the floor as a reminder to all that Voldemort would get what he wanted, or they would pay the price.
