Found Poem: Writing a found poem is kind of like making a collage with words. You take bits and pieces from an existing source and rearrange them to become poetry. The following poems consist entirely of lyrics from songs by Metallica. Lines are taken whole from their respective songs and unaltered with the exception of having been arranged together to reflect themes from the show.

Therefore, HUGE disclaimer: I own neither the words contained in these poems, nor the characters they are arranged to portray. Think of this as kind of a song-fic in a blender.

Hunter's Hymn

Look out at the darkness, and you will see.

The lie is crystal clear

As the barriers crumble at the end of the day.

Doors are slamming shut

oOoOo

Growing darkness taking dawn

All have said their prayers

On through the dead of night

Color our world blackened

oOoOo

Sleep with one eye open

While clutching to what you had thought was real

Gripping your pillow tight

On this frightening night

oOoOo

Hunter of the shadows is rising

Witch-hunt modern day

Face the thing that should not be

That dream is my reality

oOoOo

Do you fear what I fear?

It's just the beasts under your bed

Roaming the land while you sleep

Hell, hell is here

oOoOo

Moon is full, never seems to change

Chill in the air, cold as steel tonight

In the dark, see past our eyes

Do not take for granted, powers out there.
