Dramione Story/Drabble Collection
Author's Note: I happen to hate writing multi-chaptered stories. Because of my inconsistent schedules and the shebangs of university, I never finish a multi-chaptered story. And it totally sucks. So I thought of compiling stories I write out of the blue. No stories will be connected unless I say so. I hope you guys love all the ones I put in here!
Oh, and reviews are very much loved.
Story No. 01
Title: Assurance
Ship: Draco Malfoy – Hermione Granger
"Malfoy, how much do you love me?"
They were now walking up the winding staircases to the Heads quarters after they have finished supper. Hermione, as usual, was with the male thirds of the Golden Trio when she lifted her goblet of pumpkin juice to her mouth and her gaze suddenly dropped to a certain blonde who sat at the opposite end of the Great Hall. As if he was waiting for her to look, he caught her eyes and signaled her out and there they were.
"Why?" he replied, not even sparing a glance at his companion.
"I don't know... Maybe because you won't even look at me now?" she answered sarcastically. Draco merely continued to walk as if he heard nothing. Hermione rolled her eyes, grabbed his arm to stop him and turned him so that he was facing her. "Or maybe because I'm tired of being kept a secret!"
She looked directly at those mercurial orbs she loved so much, and waited for an answer. It didn't come though and he won't even stare back at her.
"I'm just tired, Draco. I'm tired of keeping us a secret. I'm tired of not being able to walk with my boyfriend, hold hands with him, and especially snog him to oblivion while silly bints continue to chase him around like he's bloody available," she said and sighed loudly. "I'm so tired of not being able to stake a claim on what's really mine."
Her eyes dropped, downcast, while she waited for him to say something. Anything. And when she thought there was nothing, she turned to leave. She stalked down the stairs back to the Great Hall where her friends were still eating their dinner.
She was too engulfed with pure disappointment that she didn't notice the smirk that crept up the boy's face during her tirade. Hell, she wasn't even aware she was being followed back to the Gryffindor table, until she was pulled by two strong arms, those same arms that snaked around her waist as that sensation of those familiar lips crushed hers once again.
