They got that question a lot. A lot more than you'd actually think. Mostly from old people who thought they were "adorable", or "such a nice couple". They kinda stopped being fazed by it.
Even when Howard married Bernadette, people still though they were a couple. Bernadette was cool about it. She knew the truth, and Howard and Raj knew, so it wasn't really ever a big deal.
Until it was.
Until Raj started hanging out with Stuart more.
Until Raj started liking Stuart.
Until Raj didn't want Stuart to get the wrong idea.
Until Howard started to get offended by Raj's seeming disgust of them in a relationship.
Until Howard found out.
Until Howard and Bernadette set Raj and Stuart up on a blind date.
Until they dated for real.
Until the question, "how long have you been dating?" wasn't to Raj and Howard, and wasn't answered with monotone "we aren't", changed to a blushing Stuart, a Happy Raj, and a smirking Howard.
Not so sure about the ending, but it's alright. Review possibly?
