Fall Alone
Together forever...or so you said.
I'll never leave...or so you said.
I love you...or so you said.
I like to run my fingers through freezing cold water.
It numbs the pain of you.
I wish I knew,
Oh, I wish I knew,
How to quit you.
Leave me behind.
I'm not worth the struggle.
Let me die.
I'm not worth another breath.
Let me fall.
I will fall alone.
Give me a reason, just one.
A reason for living.
Hm. There is none.
A waste of time.
Another disappointment.
Look into my eyes.
I'm everything you hate.
I'm everything you love.
Lies.
Deceit.
I'm alone in this war.
This war raging within me.
I fight it alone.
I started it alone.
Alone, I must finish it.
But wait, you say.
I can help, you say.

Such temptation.
But, this little warrior knows.
Knows no one can help.
Alone in her battle,
Her struggle for peace.
Bitterness aids her.
Happiness teases her.
Trusting kills her.
You think you know her?
Look again.
Look deeper.
It's like a maze.
A maze that's constantly changing.
You could get lost in her.
Could get lost in her eyes.
She knows this.
That is why
She doesn't look you directly
In the eye.
For she knows the consequences
Of such an action.
She tried so hard to blend in.
Tried so hard not to be noticed.
You saw her anyway.
You held out your hand.
And like a fool,
She took it.
She leaned on you.
Became dependant.
What happenes when
You are no more?
She will fall.
So let her fall alone.
