"Stop!" The scream echoed through her apartment. Olivia flung up right in her bed. She couldn't take it any more. Her dreams had been consumed with one thing, and one thing only for the past month. Her Partner. Elliot. Who had just finalized his divorce by pure coincidence a month ago. At least that's what Olivia had been telling herself for the last month. But that didn't matter anymore because she had had enough of this. She could barely get any work done. Not to mention the fact that she could barely look at Elliot when she was at the office because she couldn't help but remember her dreams. Not that they weren't wonderfully magnificent dreams but…Well you can't exactly look at your partner with THAT look while your investigate rape cases. Hell, You shouldn't look at your partner with THAT look at all. It didn't matter though. Because she planned to put a stop to them right now. And at the moment she could only think of one way to do that.
Olivia practically jumped out of bed and went running to her dresser drawers. About ten minutes later she grabbed her car keys along with her badge and gun and ran out the door.
Her eye's adjusted to the dark streets that lay in front of her. Elliot's apartment was about fifteen minutes away. She wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do or say when she got there but that really didn't matter right now. She needed to see Elliot. She glanced at the clock. 3:28. The night was quiet. She reached over to the passenger seat picking up a handful of CD's. Every CD contained at least two love songs that she couldn't seem to get out of her head. Fin had laughed at her when he hitched a ride with her to one of the crime scenes. He said he'd never have guessed her for a romantic.
She pulled into an empty spot across the street and turned the keys. She looked from the building back to the steering wheel. Maybe this hadn't been the best idea. Olivia's hand rested on the keys ready to turn the engine back on.
She pulled the keys from the ignition and made her way across the street. She fingered her keys finally pushing one into the lock. Elliot had given her a set just incase he happen to lock himself out again. She smiled at the memory of him sleeping on her couch because the building manager had been on vacation. She turned the key, the lock clicking and pushed the door open.
Olivia stood at the bottom of the staircase. Elliot was on the second floor. She slowly made her way up the steps and walked down the hallway. She had a key. She could just open the door but…she wanted to talk to him she wasn't exactly sure he'd appreciate her just walking into his bedroom. She brought her knuckles down against the hard wood. Once…twice. She heard footsteps on the other side and the door opened to reveal a very sleepy looking Elliot. She instantly became unsure of herself, "I'm sorry Elliot. I shouldn't be bothering you." She turned to walk away.
He grabbed her arm then blinked a couple of times, "Olivia. What's the matter? Did something happen?"
She gave a weak smile at the concern in his voice. If she told him what she was about to tell him and he didn't feel the same way they'd never be the same but if she didn't tell him she risked a lot more. At least she thought so.
Elliot look her once over. She had a long fitted green coat over what looked like jeans with her favorite black heeled boots. She wasn't wearing any makeup but she still looked absolutely beautiful. She displayed a weak smile across her lips and this was what made him uneasy, "Olivia are you ok?"
Olivia grabbed the sides of his face and pulled him towards her. Their lips crashed together. God damn it! She was entranced by him.
