By the way, Lloyd is mentally 12 in this... Also, Suzuki is my HC name for the FSM...And I like to think that Lloyd's Birthday is on Halloween/DotD.
Lloyd and his family were at the old monastery, lighting a lantern for Suzuki, the legendary First Spinjitzu Master. Wu had left to get some more firewood from a forest nearby, leaving the twelve-year-old ninja to be alone with his parents.
"Mom, Dad..." the Green Ninja whispered softly.
"Yes, Sweetie?" his mother replies, both her and Garmadon placing their hands upon their distraught child's shoulders.
"I don't wanna lose you two again... When I was younger, I thought I'd lost you both...I lit two lanterns..."
"It doesn't matter. It wasn't my fault that I wasn't there with you when you were younger. We are here together now. We're alive. Hang on. It's alright. I don't blame you at all for being this emotional. This is just who you are." Garmadon's voice was both soft and firm.
"I don't mean to upset you, Lloyd. I just want you to be happy. I don't want you to suffer through the pain I'd gone through; it was truly horrible. Still though, I've already ruined your life as much as it is. You matter to me. To both of us, to your whole team, for that matter. And your mother and I adore you. You're the best thing that's ever occurred to us."
Lloyd sighed in response. "I've really missed you guys."
"I know...we have too." his mother told him.
Garmadon nodded in reaffirmation. "Ohh...Lloyd...come here...come to us..."
The Green Ninja nodded, instantly returning his parents' warm and comforting embrace, softly smiling. He couldn't have asked for anything better. "I love you..."
"We love you too, Lloyd..." his parents said in unison. "Happy Birthday..."
"Aw, thanks!"
Garmadon smiled softly. "How could we ever forget? You're our only son. We love you so very dearly. We're right here. It's all that matters."
At that point, Wu came back up to the former monastery grounds, joining them.
Despite all that they'd been through, they loved one another all the same, and they wouldn't have had it any other way.
That's the end of that one.
Cya, bye!
