AN: Hello! If you're reading this, there is something you should know before you continue:
I wrote this poem on WordPad with a specific idea in mind - the juxtaposition of two 'poems' representing the thoughts and actions of Satori and Koishi. FF won't let me format this poem the way I formatted it on WordPad, so the two lines of thought here (next to each other) are further apart than I intended. I apologise, and I hope you can still enjoy the poem and appreciate the concept despite this. If two people read it at the same time, one person to a side, you'll get the full effect!
And of course, the disclaimer:
-I do not claim any ownership of Touhou or any of the characters or concepts contained therein.-

The Hermit and the Wanderer:
-.-.-.-
It is so
It is so
Dark
Bright
Down here.
Up here.
The earth,
The sky,
Rigid
Flowing
Around me.
Above me.
I look at my third eye;
I look at my third eye;
It stares back,
It is closed,
Alert;
Asleep;
Unlike my sister's.
Unlike my sister's.
Koishi...
Satori...
I miss you.
I miss you.

It is so
It is so
Bright
Dark
Out there.
In here.
The light from above travels
The light from above travels
Halfway into the cave.
Halfway into the cave.
Beyond that, will I find
Beyond that, I will find
You?
You.
I look at the palace,
I think of the palace,
Wishing I'd never left.
Wishing I'd never left.
I fly into
I fly into
The light and
The darkness and
I am blind,
I am blind,
Still hurtling towards you;
Still hurtling towards you;
Then my vision returns
Then my vision returns
and I see you with all three of my eyes.
and I see you with all three of my eyes.
Koishi...
Satori...
I've missed you,
I've missed you,
I'm glad that you're back
I'm glad to be back
