A Troy&Gabriella Drabble
"We graduated," she says blissfully. They're lying on the bed of his truck in the middle of the desert, looking up at the stars in the night sky.
"That we did," he says reaching for her hand. He interlaces their fingers and brings them up to kiss the back of her hand.
After a few moments of silence, she looks over at him. "You think we can handle California?" she asks.
"Well, we better. We're here already and I'm all out of gas," he jokes.
She laughs out loud, finding his statement incredibly funny, and shakes her head. They were going to make it. Together, she was sure they would.
