Tigers and Roses
The Titans had just gotten back from defeating Control Freak for the second time that week. They were celebrating with pizza to go in the living room. Raven sunk away while Beastboy and Cyborg were fighting over the last slice of pizza.
Raven Flew through the tower and out over the bay the surrounded their little island. She flew to the top of a mansion just outside of Jump City.
"I thought you would never show up." Said a man behind Raven.
"I was unexpectedly detained,love." Said Raven going up to the man and kissing him lightly on the cheek.
He warped his arms around her and pulled her to his chest and kissed her on the lips fiercely.
"My Raven why don't we go down to the bedroom I have a surprise for you." He said seductively.
"You know how I hate surprises."
"You will like this one, trust me."
"I do"She said while moving a piece of her hair out of her face which was now long.
He lead Raven through a maze of hallways,corridor, and secret passages. Before finally come to his bedroom.
He opened the door and lead her into his dark room.
"Now whats the big surprise!" Raven called to her lover who she believed was standing behind her.
Suddenly the lights came on! Which momentarily Disorientated Raven.
When her vision had cleared, she could see that the room was filled with hundreds of flowers. The floor was littered with black and purple rose petals and the bed was covered in red ones. Pink day-Lily's and tiger orchids were in vases around the room. It was all so beautiful raven was stunned.
" I take it you like it, but this isn't the surprise." he said from behind her.
"It's so beautiful." Raven said while going up to one of the vases and smelling the lily's.
"I have something else for you." He said grabbing Raven's hand and pulling her over to the bed.
"What is it, your killing me with the suspense!"
"Close your eyes."
"Just tell me!" Raven exclaimed.
He got up and went to a dresser on the other side of the room.
"Can I open my eyes yet"she called from the other side of the room
"No keep them closed." He said smirking.
On top of a pair of red and yellow socks was a small blue velvet box.
He went bake over to the bed an sat down next to Raven.
"Okay, open your eyes."
When Raven opened her eyes she saw him, holding a small velvet box with a diamond ring inside.
"Raven, I know we haven't been together long but I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
At this point Raven was crying, and weirdly nothing was exploding.
He got down on one knee.
"Rachel Roth will you do me the honor of becoming my wife."
"Yes,Yes,Oh,Yes"She exclaimed.
Her husband to be put the beautiful ring on her Finger and kissed her deeply.
Later that night they lay naked in their bed, now together forever.
Before drifting of to sleep Raven whispers.
"I love you, Slade."
