Another oneshot, I can't believe it XD At first I was just making a roleplay sample for my new Shugo Chara RP, which you can find at .com , but then I ended up making a little story out of it. It's super short, but I think it gets the point across. Hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I don't own Shugo Chara, but if I did, that'd be totally wicked!

WISH COME TRUE

It was that day again- it was Utau's birthday. She remembered all those years where she hadn't gotten anything, where the only one thing she wanted was to spend the day with Ikuto, and she hadn't gotten it. Not since they were very small kids, and then, they spent most of their days together and with Tadase, anyway. She remembered the sadness that had come with all those years of empty, painful birthdays, and she smiled. Not because the memories were pleasant, but because they were no longer being made. This year was different. She walked downstairs to the sound of quick footsteps, and two beautiful children ran in, a golden-haired boy and a red-haired girl. She smiled at them and met them in a big hug, as they chorused,

"Happy birthday, mommy!"

Then the girl, Manami, spoke up. "Mommy, the cake's almost done! Sato's been helping me!" her little chara appeared next to her, grinning, with flour all over its face and its baking hat askew.

"Daddy's going to pick up more flour at the supermarket, and he says I can help him!" said the boy, Akihiro, proudly.

"That you can!"beamed Kukai, and he walked into the room and kissed his wife on the forehead. "Happy birthday, Utau." he said. "Amu and Ikuto and the kids are coming over in an hour, I should be back before then." he and Akihiro left, and Manami tramped back into the kitchen, with Sato following her. Utau sat down on the couch and smiled at nothing in particular, thinking of how happy she was, and how she was glad she stuck it through all those years at Easter to get to where she was now. Singer, wife, mother, sister. All the things she'd dreamed of being, but never thought she'd be able to be.

"Thank you, Iru, for getting me through every day." she said ever so quietly. "And thank you, Eru. For showing me the way."
