Hi guys this is my second Death Note drabble so I'm still new to the characters and all but I hope you enjoy it all the same. I don't own Death Note or its characters.
Puzzles:
It was a regular sunny day in Wammy's house. Near, as always, was sitting in his dark room completing the same puzzle he had finished exactly 5673 times before. It was too easy, even though it was almost completely white apart from the large L on the bottom left corner of the puzzle.
Mello then walked in, Near merely kept working on the puzzle, the only thing indicating that he knew Mello was there was the slightest pause when Mello entered.
"You're doing that puzzle again? And why are you in the dark? You have a window for a reason idiot." Mello said, it made Near quite annoyed, that was a bit rude, even for Mello.
"Well what's your problem Mello? You're even more rude than usual." Near was never fazed by Mello's antics. Never. It was impossible, at least when they didn't do those things to him. When his antics mad him… aroused. Sometimes it was when Mello leaned down and whispered in his ear teasingly and his lips would ever so gently graze along the top of it. Then he would straighten up and leave. Sometimes it was whenever Near 'accidentally' left a few cookie crumbs on his face, Mello would walk in and say something like 'you left crumbs on you cheek again stupid' then he would lean down and lick them all off. With his tongue. On Nears cheek.
"Maybe it's the fact that you still haven't just come up to me and kissed me like I thought you would. I thought that if I did what I did to you, you might fall in love with me, but I guess I was wrong about that." With that Near finally turned around and straightened up, he then walked over to Mello.
"Well it seems like you're the idiot this time Mello." Near said, smiling ever so slightly.
"And why is tha- mmph" Mello was cut short by Nears lips being pressed to his. Mello was shocked and for a few seconds didn't respond. But he finally got over his shock and leant into the kiss.
"That's why Mello." Near whispered grinning from ear to ear.
For the rest of the day neither Mello nor Near were seen again. Not even at meal times.
