Wings Of Fire: Crystal's Turmoil

Crystal and her six friends have been imprisoned under a mountain since their hatching day by the five original dragonets. They are being told that the war now is even more terrible then the one before. But one day, everything goes wrong. Their mountain is invaded and Queen Bolt of the SkyWings takes them prisoner... Can they survive Bolt's arena? Or will the prophecy fail?

Glory flew in the secret mountain, clutching two eggs, one RainWing egg and one SkyWing egg. She was pleased to see the others had gotten their eggs successfully. Soon Sunny flew into sight along with an IceWing they had asked to help find the IceWing egg. He left immediately. "I can't believe we're doing what we hated so much to others." Glory seethed.

"It's for their own good, Glory, and you know it." Starflight pointed out. Glory's scales started turning pale green in nervousness. "What if they escape like we did? They won't survive three seconds!" Tsunami snorted and growled. "Oh, COME ON. It's not like we'll be making their lives miserable for the fun of it. I'm sure it'll be absolutely fine."

The five stopped arguing as the MudWing egg started to crack. After a long minute, the young dragonet tumbled into the mud with a happy squeaking noise. She started breaking the SeaWing egg, which withheld a male dragonet, who immediately pushed the MudWing away from her. She jumped into a fountain and splashed Glory, who grumbled in annoyance.

Next the MudWing went for the RainWing egg. The newborn dragonet was pulled into the fountain by the SeaWing dragonet. He squawked in annoyance and jumped out of the fountain, shaking his ruff. Soon after, the young SkyWing exploded out of her eggshell and tried to torch the others. Glory had to move her away from the others so they wouldn't get cooked.

The NightWing was next. When she hatched, she started examining her eggshell, and then yelped in alarm and hid behind Starflight as the SkyWing dragonet jumped on her and tried to cook her. The SandWing was hatching by now. When he hatched, the guardians noticed he was NOT a hybrid like Sunny put a proper SandWing.

Glpry started to worry about the IceWing. It had been a while, and the dragonet had still not emerged from the shell, even with the NudWings relentless beating on the egg. Finally it started cracking, and a female IceWing dragonet sprayed eggshell everywhere. She pretty much froze the nest. causing an annoyed SandWing dragonet t push her off.

They were named Dustcloud, Typhoon, Parakeet, Inferno, Galaxy, Scarab and Crystal. The guardians watched them, satisfied, as they knew this war would end soon...
