I felt my family and the wolf pack slow behind me as I came to a stop at the edge of the clearing. I only saw her back; her bronze curls swayed as she placed her hands on her hips and looked up to see his departing figure.
"Do you even care about me at all?" Her voice held a sharp edge to it. The figure dressed in black spun round to face my daughter. It was the Volturi guard Alec; his face sparkled in the sunlight and held a deep sadness.
"Do you really mean that? You're just going to leave and forget all about us, but that's ok, were used to being forgotten." He turned and began walking away again. I looked first at my husband Edward who was just as confused as I was and then to Jacob who looked ready to rip Alec's head off for talking to Renesmee like that.
"Listen, Im not going to forget about you, I care about you." Her voice was sad almost pleading as she too watched the departing figure. Again he turned, this time his face showed anger not sorrow.
"You don't give a shit about me! Im just a crazy little boy!" His shout echoed of the trees and Edward, Jasper, Emmett and Jacob all made moves to step forward but thought better of it.
"No!" My daughter desperate cry echoed of the tree's much like Alec's.
"Then prove it."He turned once more and began to leave; just as he reached the edge of the clearing Renesmee's angelic voice rang out through the clearing.
"Forget it, forget us" He disappeared, like a shadow, like he was never there.
"Renesmee?" The sweet honey like voice of my husband broke through the silence. My daughter turned at a neck breaking speed, her eyes blazed as she pushed the hair out of her eyes.
"What are you guys doing here? I thought your plane didn't land till tomorrow." Her voice was hard, and held a deep suspicion.
It was Jacob who spoke next; he took several steps toward Renesmee, and held his arms out to embrace her.
"We missed you Ness." He closed the gap between them and wrapped his arms around her petite form. What Renesmee did next shocked everyone.
"Get off me you stupid dog!" She twisted around in his arms and threw his six foot from several feet away from her...
So yeah...
