Author's note: I'm not very good at writing Fan-Fiction, and this is my first attempt at writing for Heroes, so I don't know if it's any good or not. Yes, there is a degree of wish fulfilment on my part. It's also very short… Honestly other than that I don't know what to say, I hope you like it -. Oh, and if anyone can tell me how exactly to spell Simone and her Father's last name, that would be great.
1"Peter, I know these last few weeks have been hard for you, and I know you're worried, but it will be alright, I know it will." She said
"Thank you. I hope so." Peter replied
They stood on the roof of Charles Deverux's apartment as the sun set. It was a cloudy October evening and the colors of the sunset could barely be seen through the haze and the buildings. Claude stood back a bit farther, looking at them as if they were absolutely pathetic. He found Peter somewhat annoying, and he found her even more annoying. She was a naive, idealistic, foolish young girl. Perhaps even more foolish and naive than Peter. He couldn't believe that she had found them. They were invisible after all. Of course, he had tried to steal he purse, but only for training purposes. She wasn't supposed to see them. And she didn't see them. But she did know that they were there. Cursed emotional tuner, she noticed their emotions. And she followed them. Claude was more annoyed when she decided to stay and help. She seemed to like Peter, who was still hurt because of Simone. Claude also found this annoying, because of he disliked attachments, he found them useless. But she seemed to help. And perhaps that was what annoyed Claude the most. That a foolish, naive, idealistic girl with a near useless power was helpful. Apparently being able to manipulate emotions can stop nuclear explosions. But Peter still hadn't flown. Claude couldn't figure it out. Peter could do other things, but he couldn't fly. None the less, the foolish girl—Joan, Joanie, or Joanne, something like that, could calm peter down when he came close to overloading.
Peter and "Jo" as Claude called her, so that he wouldn't have to remember her name, walked across the roof, talking. Claude wondered if she was some how playing with Peter's emotions, because, somehow, he seemed to like her. Claude wasn't paying attention as the man in the trench coat came up to the roof, looking for her or peter or someone. But he couldn't see Claude, at least.
The man's name was Gabriel Grey. Or Sylar, as he was now called. And he was on a mission of murderous intent. He was after Peter. At just that moment Peter and "Jo" turned around and saw Sylar. He turned his telekinetic hands towards Peter, but "Jo", knowing what could happen stood in the way. Sylar had forgotten, for a moment, about her power and instinctively flung her with his mind. She was thrown past the edge of the roof. Peter gasped and in a semi-unconscious move jumped from the roof after her. He was flying. He hadn't thought about it until than, but he was flying. He flew quicker as she fell and he finally caught up with, and just plain caught, her. She smiled warmly as Peter set her on a neighboring roof. He turned to face Sylar, but found that he was gone. Clearly he was not ready. Than he heard clapping.
"Well, it's about time" Claude said, "Jo" smiled
