To the Editor:

It has come to my attention that people all across the country have become completely enthralled with the increasingly popular 'Twilight' series. This concerns me, due to the fact that the author's works contain many inaccuracies about the vampire species. This is not good for public awareness.

For starters, vampires do not sparkle in the sunlight. Sunlight kills them, causes them to shrivel up. Second, a vampire cannot survive on animal blood. They must drink human blood or they will become weak and die. This is why they are a danger to society. They cannot coexist peacefully with us, no matter how good looking they may be. These books distort that fact, and that is dangerous. If the public is made to believe that these creatures can indeed coexist with us, then disaster could very easily ensue.

Thank you,

Dear Concerned Citizen:

How do you know these things for sure?
