Life in New Jersey
JERSEY CITY, NJ 2006
Karone awoke to find a bus sitting there and Zhane gone. She wondered if Andros was OK in New York considering that he had nearly been dragged along with a B train once. She smiled remembering when Zhane and Andros had given Hawkeye and BJ the Princess and the Pea treatment by nailing cot on cot on cot. The PATH was getting boring and the #1 train had stopped service to this area as its R62 cars were being used on the #11 train from Andover to CCM. She walked to the bus stop where the bus to Hoboken(NJT 87) came. She paid her dollar fare for the ride to Hoboken.

At Hoboken she proceeded to find the #10 train as the Z's R40MUs came in squealing. She knew the #10 was Arrow IV cars. She took the Z to Rockaway Mall as the #10 wasn't running where she found Zhane standing in Comet IV #5005 in the E train. The Z would continue to Jefferson while the E would go to the Water Gap. She walked off the Platform to the mall where a large group was headed to the Foxwoods Express(P). Karone continued walking until she heard Andros yelling at a man who tried to shove him into the parked R143 cars for the K Train.

Andros was fighting until Karone walked in to the fight and scared everyone away as they were thinking she might turn in to Astronema at any minute. Life had gotten boring after the Empire had been defeated. The PATH was no longer running at the right speed. NJT had added several trains with no purpose. The #9 was discontinued. The H train had lost its R68s to the T and got R46 cars instead.

Andros got her and Zhane tickets to the World Series at Shea and Yankee Stadiums. This game was at Shea and the Q train was whipping them around the curve before Canal Street at a fast speed. The R46 had never been on the Q and was marked:
Q BROADWAY EXPRESS
Q TO SHEA STADIUM

At 34th Street another R46 appeared marked:
Q BROADWAY EXPRESS
Q BRIGHTON BEACH

This train was carrying passengers from the stadium or Flushing as an express as the R pulled up on the right marked:
R BROADWAY LOCAL
R 71/CONTINENTAL AVES
Karone assumed that the Broadway line was running extra trains to Shea and back.

Andros was a little hurried and kept trying to pull the doors closed at every station. Ashley was attemping to haul him away from the doors as he liked holding them open but he wouldn't move until the train began to move with the doors wide open to Times Square. The doors closed and the train sped up to Times Square where Andros fell on Ashley and the passengers started throwing money on them. Karone grabbed Zhane onto the 7 Train at Times Square to avoid this crazy train.

The Q continued on to Shea Stadium as an express using the #7's former express track. The W train would provide local service to the stadium and the LIRR was running extra trains. New Jersey Transit was also running its own Q train to Shea.

After the game the four walked around looking at the LIRR and NJT trains taking a picture here and there of those trains and stored Q and W trains. Score was NYY 9,NYM 3. When it got late they found the R running service as the Q is Rush Hours,Middays, and whenever the Mets have a home game. The R ran local and was very boring as R46 cars were used. But a R32 had arrived instead of the R46.

In Andros' house he and Zhane got so drunk they could have sworn they left a switch set to take N and R trains up to Queensbridge or out to New Jersey. Ashley was planning to inforn the MTA there was a drunk on that R train. Karone was thinking how she was going to get Zhane home without creating a problem on the PATH trains.
