Oz: Now and Then by DarkImmortal 20

Summary: Ever wonder, what happened to Oz when he left Sunnydale again in S4? This is my version of what happened to him.
I was living in Tokyo when I heard Sunnydale was destroyed. I heard the news from Michael, a childhood friend of mine. He was visiting me when he told me. The first person I thought after I heard the news was Willow. Even though it's been four years since I last saw her, I still care about her. She understood me and stood by me when I became a werewolf. I never thought in my life I would meet a girl like her, but I knew she was the one when we first had a conversation together. I knew when I left her, a part of me knew I was making a big mistake, but I had to go. I didn't want to hurt her again, so I had to leave.
It wasn't until a couple of months later; I went back to Sunnydale and see her again. She was happy when I couldn't change into a werewolf when the moon was full. I really thought, we could have picked up the relationship, but I was wrong. She was involved with someone else, a girl. Her name is Tara and she's also a witch like Willow. Before I left Sunnydale again, I and Tara talked about Willow. I told her, "If you and Willow have a relationship, take care of her." She gave me a faint smile and said, "It's Willow decision if she wants to have a relationship with me." I reply back by saying, "Don't worry. You guys are going to be together. I have a feeling." That was it. I said goodbye to Willow and the others one last time and left Sunnydale for good. I traveled to LA to spend a week with relatives. I wanted to see how Angel was, but never really had a chance to go to his place.
After that, I went to Tokyo and enroll in college. I graduated this past year and now working as a teacher assistant in a kindergarten school in Osaka, Japan. I speak fluent Japanese and teaching the kids how to speak English. I really enjoy my work and glad my life is doing well. The last time, I changed into a werewolf was in Sunnydale and I hope I never change again, unless if it involves saving the world, then I'll do it in a second. I think about the Scooby Gang now and then. I wonder where they all living now and have their lives change? I hope one day, I'll meet all again and if not I remembered those years with them. But I really hope I do meet them again, so I could introduced them to Marcos, my two year old son. Fortunately, he is not a werewolf like me.
Ok, Oz doesn't know that Tara died a couple of years ago and that Willow is with Kennedy. So he still thinks Willow and Tara are together.
