Sabrina was more than a little angry. She was sleep deprived, had an early court case the following morning, and she was cold. Why did Faerie even have a creepy dungeon anyway?
Oh, and she was hungry.
Sabrina glanced at her watch. It had been half an hour since she'd demanded they bring their king to her. An hour in all since she had been abducted from a stray allyway by a couple of strong-arm fairy guards. And of course they caught her on the one day she didn't have her lock picking equipment or any pins in her hair. This whole situation was ridiculously lucky, almost like they'd been watching for the perfect chance.
When the almighty King arrived, she was going to give him a piece of her mind, and perhaps her fist for how long he had kept her waiting.
Finally, five mind numbing minutes later, the great and powerful Faerie King graced her with his presence, sauntering down the steps. Up to a few years ago, Puck had been an eleven-year-old boy for four thousand years. Now, however, he had grown into a very handsome man, and in Daphne's words, 'a massive hottie'. A mischievous grin played on his cocky face.
Most would bow at his feet, but Sabrina just let out an annoyed sigh.
"What took you so long? Can you believe it, some of your guards took me prisoner!" She looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to bring out his keys and an apology, but he just leaned against the bars examining his fingernails. She felt her heart fall as she sensed where this was going.
"Of course they did. I asked them to."
Sabrina stared at him, feeling her face grow red as she tried to think of an insult that befitted her annoying boyfriend. None of her ideas were very kind ones.
"My, my," he tutted, turning to face her. "No need to get so grumpy. Why, steam is practically coming out of your ears."
"Puck," she growled, a familiar tone to his name. "Why am I here?"
"Isn't it obvious?" He blinked, looking like he honestly thought she was the crazy one here, eyes lit up with a humorous glint. Did he really think that this was some sort of game?
He pointed dramatically at her. "You have been neglecting me."
She boiled silently until she wrestled back control of herself and responded. "Neglecting you?" she hissed, gripping the bars of the prison.
"Yes, neglect, as in you haven't been paying me enough attention."
"I know what neglect means!" she shouted, glaring at him.
He rolled his eyes. "Apparently not, because you've been doing it."
"I saw you just last week." she scoffed, folding her arms. She almost smiled at the memory, it had been a lovely date actually-he'd taken her to a new bakery a few blocks from her apartment and then had taken her to a quiet park where he had given her his full attention while she talked about how her life had been going. It was moments like that that reminded her that he wasn't always a thorn in her side.
"Six, actually." he corrected. Sabrina was confused for a moment. "Six weeks?"
"No dogface. Six days." He reached through the bars and flicked her on the forehead. She let out an unexpected yelp. How dare he!
All of her warm thoughts towards him evaporated. "Puck, you better let me out of this cell, right now." she seethed, but he chuckled, as always unaffected by her anger that made others plead for mercy, for he had the same immunity she had to his handsome charms.
He mummured sweetly, "Ah, but you're not exactly in a position to make demands, are you?" He grinned and snagged her waist from behind the bars, pulling her ear to his lips.
"You're my prisoner now, sweetheart."
Sabrina pulled away quickly, suddenly glad for the wall separating them. She glowered, trying to pretend that his breath on her ear hadn't just sent shivers down her spine. Really, one would think that she was still an overly emotional teenager by the way he could effect her.
He laughed, and that set her on the edge between braking every bone in his body and kissing him senseless.
"Alright, what do you want?" she muttered, gritting her teeth. She told herself that her goosebumps were from the cold dampness of the dungeon.
"What do I want?" He gave her a rakish smile that proved to infuriate her further. Her urge to push him on his back increased.
"I," he paused for dramatic effect. "I want justice." He started to walk away much to Sabrina's frustration. Sometimes the absolute gall he had made her wonder why she was in love with him.
"Where are you going? Our conversation isn't over, Stinkpot!" she yelled, shaking the confines of her cage.
He didn't answer her question, just simply tossed over his shoulder, "I already have a court case set up for you, lots of busy work to get that started."
"What?" she screamed, unbelieving. "What in the world am I charged with?"
He paused to turn and grin at her. "For disrespecting the King of course." There was a glint in his eye that told her that he would and could go through with his insane plan. He started his retreat again, but Sabrina called out after him.
"Wait!"
He paused again, but kept his back to her. "You can't leave me here." She hated how desperate she sounded. He deliberately walked back to her, eyes gleaming. To her horror, Sabrina realized that this begging was exactly what he wanted. He tapped his chin thoughtfully.
"I suppose I could wave your charges if you repaid me personally for your crime."
Sabrina grumbled a couple of unkind things about Puck.
"What do you want?" she repeated herself, resigned. He smirked, drawing close to the cell.
"A kiss." Her first reaction was to tell him to beat it, but an inkling of an idea formed in her mind.
"Fine." she muttered, looking away from him.
"Really?" he said, mask slipping for a moment, surprised that she had caved so easily. He had planned around this taking much more time. He quickly put a smirk on his face, taking his luck. He leaned towards the bars triumphantly. Sabrina rolled her eyes, huffing.
"I'm not kissing you through the dirty bars, Puck."
He sighed, but was already pulling the keys out of his back pocket. "Honestly, Grimm. I never know what to expect from you." The door clanged shut behind him. Sabrina had moved herself to the back of the tiny cell, eyes shining in the shadows. He approached her and grinned jauntily, reveling in his victory.
She was still scowling at him, mad that he had such a strange power over her. He brought his hand to cup her face and smiled something softer, brushing his thumb along her cheekbone. Her scowl melted away and she leaned slightly to his touch.
He leaned forward and kissed her firmly and pulled away. Puck liked the expression on her face, looking like she wanted more. Alas, he had said 'a' kiss after all, and while making Sabrina glow red with fury was one of his favorite things, he was a man of his word.
He was about to announce something about her release, but he didn't get to speak as she pulled him roughly into a more heated kiss. He felt his eyes widen for a moment, but happily complied to her desires.
One of her hands came to the middle of his back, touching the spot where his wings were hidden. The action sent trills of pleasure right down his spine, and he bit back a low moan.
Her other hand was low on his back, and his breath caught in his throat as he pulled away, an uncharacteristic blush coming to his face. Only she could ever do this to him.
He murmured, "A little forward today Grimm-"
Suddenly Puck found himself smashed against the grungy wall, dazed. In the back of his mind he heard the sound of a lock click. As soon as his head cleared he rushed to the door and rattled it. It was shut tight.
He stared at Sabrina, dumbfounded. In her hand was the ring of keys that had locked him inside, and in the other sat his wallet. She gave him a mind-numbing smile, then started to walk away.
"Hey wait!" he shouted, "Where are you going?" Sabrina turned and gave him a smug look.
"What does it look like? I'm about to go buy myself a nice lunch. I must say, it was kind of you to give me the money."
"B-but!" He spluttered, unsure when the situation had caved in around him.
She grinned rakishly, and hummed while she walked out of the dungeon, leaving a shouting Puck.
Nothing felt better than tricking the Trickster King.

AN: That was really fun to write. Honestly this only happened because I really wanted the word 'rakish' in the story. Plus I love these two. Alright, I'm going to work on some bigger projects, so see you later. ^^
