In these days of gloom and hopelessness I sit watching the sky cry

Bad at studies and sports I was never a school's pride

People behave strangely around me

They whisper and voice fades when I near them

You lit up my world but you had a problem of your own

You were never good at studies, like me

You were never good at sports, like me

You befriended me

Everyone looked as if you had lost a head when you told them

Of course they can't see me you were a special person

For a very long time I had waited for someone like you to come and free me from these shackles

People had forgotten me a long time ago

But you came and revived me

So now I bid you farewell and hope we never meet again

Never once did I fight back or regret befriending an angel

Now that I'm dying I'm glad we had that last lunch on the school top

I'm glad that we played volleyball together

I'm glad we rescued that cat together

But for one last time I want to hug you even if I'm filthy by your standard

Everything will be over by the time I close my eyes so I spent my last hours looking at your hate filled sun kissed face and imagined if we had really been human living together in this world will it ever turn out like this?
