Dating The Dark Lord

Warnings : None

A/N : First fan fiction, a little Hogwarts to start the school year off. I'd absolutely love to have feedback on how I can improve my writing. I do realize I went totally OOC for Riddle but I just started writing and my mind might have kinda wandered. Even though it's totally out of character it's just going to be something you can enjoy reading for awhile.

You'd gone to Hogsmeade so many times now, it was after all, your fourth year at Hogwarts, but this time, it was different. You had met a boy named Tom Riddle in your second year there, technically he had been in Slytherin with you since day one but you hadn't really noticed him until second year while in your potions class. Slytherin had double potions with Ravenclaw that day and during your second class you had been paired with Tom to make a basic Swelling Solution. Both of you had really bonded over the thought about how stirring the swelling potion three and a half times anti clockwise, then one time clockwise would work way better then stirring it four times anti clockwise.
That was more than two years ago. Now at age 15 you were heading to The Three Broomsticks to meet Tom for a Butterbeer or two. It was your second time, well, going out with him and you were about five hundred percent more confident this time. Last time you had had a couple laughs with Tom and then he had walked you back to your dorm with the teasing excuse, "I think you might get scared going back down alone."
He really didn't need an excuse because Slytherin was his house too, but it was charming that he had one. As the night finished up, you and Tom had had your laughs and we're heading back to Hogwarts. Once back to your houses' common room you and Tom had just sat in front of the fire place cuddled up together. You curled up beside him and laid your head on his chest you could feel his gentle breathing on your head. "Y/n," he started hesitantly.
"Yes?" You answered, maybe a bit too eagerly.
"I hope that this isn't too strange, but you make me feel, well, different." Tom sputtered out.
"How so?" You asked him as calmly as you could have possible done under the circumstances.
"When I'm around you I have this weird sensation in my stomach, like fluttering. Remember when we were in potions during second year together? That was the first time I felt it."
"Butterflies?" You asked him almost hopefully.
"No, that's absurd, it was more, um-" Tom stuttered a bit before finally giving in to the fact that he and felt butterflies.
He looked at you and for the first time you saw Tom appear to be nervous. Was he afraid that you didn't feel that same way? No that was ridiculous, Tom Riddle, nervous? Yet something about his eyes.
You were silent for awhile before answering. "Don't worry Tom, I felt them too." You whispered with a grin.
