Hey, hey! DarknessQuotation here, and because I'm mentally ill, I'm writing a POGEYMANZ fiction! :D

Actually, this contains an entirely new region, called Nontoh(non-toe), and follows a male Pokemon trainer named Jin. For the most part, it will be 3rd person view, but some will be 1st person.

Enjoy the first chapter! :D

"Ahh!" Jin yelled as he awoke. "What time is it?"

He looked at the clock.

"Phew, not late to go meet Professor Kerry to get my Pokemon!" He jumped from the bed, quickly throwing on his clothes(sloppily), then grabbed his PDA(Pokemon Digital Assistant). He ran out the door.

"Bye Mom, going to get a Pokemon!," Jin yelled as he ran out the door. "Be careful!" Jin's mom yelled. As he ran through Intia Town, he stopped suddenly and saw Prof Kerry working on her garden. "Professor Kerry!"

She jumped at the sudden interuption.

"Oh," she said nervously. "I'd forgotten you were coming." She fixed her glasses, then talked a little more. "Ready to get a Pokemon, I presume?"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Follow me to my lab."

Her lab was across town, but this gave them some time to talk.

"So, what's your favorite type of Pokemon, Jin?" She inquired.
"I'd have to say Electric. Especially Elekid!"
"I see. Well, I happen to have a few spare Elekids!"
"Awesome!"
Jin seemed all too eager to get a Pokemon.

After they got to the lab, she walked him to the back room to find Pokeballs with stickers saying what Pokemon they contain.

"Ah, here's my Elekids. Male or female?"
"Male, please."
"Ok... here ya go!"

She handed Jin a Pokeball, Jin's eyes lighting up at the sight of a Pokeball being handed to him. He pressed the button in the center. Out came his Elekid.

"Ele, Ele!" (Who are you)
"Holy crud! Elekid!" Jin exclaimed, holding back the urdge to squeeze this cute little Pokemon.
"Ele?" (What)
"I'm Jin!"

Professor Kerry giggled at the two. "You seem made for each other," she pronounced.

"Yeah! I think we do, too."
"Elek! Elekid Elekid!" (Woah! I like you)
"Thanks, Professor Kerry! Come on, Elekid, let's go get training!"
"Elek!" (Okay)
Jin lifted his Elekid on his shoulder, then stormed out the laboratory, heading towards Route 301.

"Man...," Professor Kerry sighed. "Kids these days. Always eager for adventure."

Back at Route 301, Jin and Elekid are training.

"So, Elekid, what can you do?"
"Ele, Elekid! Ele, ele, ele, Elekid!"(I can do lots! Thundershock, Low Kick, Leer, and Quick Attack!"
"Sounds like a lot!"
"Elek!" (It is!), Elekid said, somewhat proud.
"Well, let's find some Pokemon, shall we?"
"Elekid!" (Yes, sir!)

After about 20 seconds of searching, they spotted a Pidgey in the tall grass.

"Elekid, there's one!," Jin whispered. "Thundershock it!"

Elekid used Thundershock.

"Nice, it fainted already! Man, you're strong!"
"Elekiiid." (What did you expect?)

After about an hour, Elekid began to get weak and was unable to attack.

"Elekid, use Thundershock!"
"Ele... kiiiiiiid..." (I can't... too tired)
"Elekid? Come on!"
"Ele..." (Can't)
"What do I do now?"

Jin started panicking, not knowing how to help his Elekid.
