Everyone seemed to think Mikasa Ackerman, she who equaled to 100 soldiers, was the #1 trainee of the 104th. However, they were wrong.
Soon after the whole squad graduated and waved each other off as they headed to their decided factions, a mysterious girl had promoted as well.
Now, this peculiar girl trained in secrecy- when all was still; sleeping. Little did she know that her secret was shared with another. Keith Shadis. The man observed her ability, skills, and sportsmanship throughout the nights, seeing if she was truly destined to become a soldier, to become humanity's last hope. Her ambition kept him young; After a few nights of watching, he even began to leave out the 3DMG to allow her to further her practices; knowing confidently that she would carry through.
She was more advanced than his students; the girl knew how to perfectly utilize the 3DMG to it's full potential, she had more stamina and speed than any of his cattles (or socalled students), her reflexes were sharp, and judging by her solitary survival- she was probably as intelligent as a squad leader. She was truly an ideal soldier.
As the 104th Trainees Squad closed upon graduation, Shadis exposed her to Commander Erwin of the Survey Corps.
"I think she is very well suited to become a real soldier. She surpasses Ackerman, and can probably take on Levi himself."
"Oh? That sounds interesting. Ackerman, first-ranked of the 104th I presume?"
"Yes, sir."
"Well let's go see this free spirit."
Shadis finally spoke to the young girl during her nightly training, telling her about how he had observed her skills as he would his own student(s) and how she deemed to be the perfect leader some day. He offered a meeting with Commander Erwin and she violently nodded her head.
"Name and age."
"(F/N), (L/N). 12."
The day dragged on as Erwin asked for her to demonstrate her skill and idly chat with her to grasp her unidentified personality.
"(L/N) (F/N), pass. Rank 0,"
"Thank you, Instructor Shadis."
"I entrust you with my hopes and dreams; you had better not fail me. I'm sorry you didn't get to choose which faction you would join, but I highly doubt you belonged to those pigs of the Military Police, or the Garrison."
(Y/N) nodded and saluted, "See you soon."
With that said, she left with Erwin.
