So...this has no plot as of yet, and I hate to lead people on a route with no supposed destination..but surprises aren't always bad. ;)

Even on the darkest nights, the ocean never silenced. It was always playing it's instrument, following the instructions of the moon to keep its orchestra going. Diana dipped in her toes, the chill mixing with the warm sand, although the temperatures couldn't bother her she could still feel their change.

She laid back on the sand, ignoring the grains that stuck to her ebony hair. The moon was full, casting a ray of light, it's shape highlighted by a billion stars. She thought about the land beyond the sea, and wondered if the stars looked the same. Were they as bright, and was the moon as lovely? Did it cast a reflection on the waves that was more beautiful than any panting? Or was even the sky corrupted by the supposed ways of man's world? There was only one way to find out.

Clark sat on the grass, outside the home he grew up in Smallville. Jonathan and Martha were fast asleep, but he wasn't tired, he never truthfully was. Dreams just were easier than reality, even for somebody from a different planet. The moon was bright, and the stars dotted every area surrounding it. Unlike in Metropolis, while the moon was still bright the stars were cancelled out by the vast city lights that held their own sort of beauty.

A sea of gold blew in the distance, miles and miles of wheat that gave off a sweet scent. He'd missed it here, the silent nights and the blossoming stars. It was only here that he could so easily block out a billion cries of help sounding around the world and pretend for once it was only he and the sky above.
