Hey I'm back again and I figured it's been I a while since I made a short Balto X Jenna story so I decided to make one on when Jenna sings the national anthem.
"Balto!" Jenna cried as she ran up to her wolfdog mate.
Balto turned around and smiled at his mate Jenna's face was lit up and she looked very excited.
"Hey Jen what's up and why are you so happy?" Balto asked.
"Balto I'm singing the...the...the..." Jenna started but was stopped when she started to look like she was going to pass out.
"Jenna take take a deep breath and calm down." Balto said.
Jenna did what she was told and she continued her sentence.
"Balto I'm singing the national anthem at the big sled race tomorrow." Jenna said with a smile.
"That's great Jenna!" Balto saidbefore he swung Jenna off of her feet then hugged her.
Jenna's big smile was replaced with a deep frown.
Balto noticed this he then started nuzzled her.
"Jenna is something wrong?" Balto asked nuzzlinghis mate.
"Balto I'm not sure if I can do this. I mean I'm just as excited as you about me singing the national anthem but I'm shy about singing in public." Jenna said.
"So your saying you have stage fright?" Balto asked.
Jenna nodded.
"Jenna it's okay to be nervous and shy about doing something in public but Jenna like I said when I helped youface your fear of water I'm gonna help you face your stage fright." Balto said starting to stroke Jenna's soft red fur.
Jenna knew her mate was right she then rubbed his nose lovingly and smiled.
"Thank you Balto." Jenna said.
"Your welcome Jenna now lets head home and help you rehearse for the big show." Balto said.
The next day...
Jenna was at the back of the stage getting ready Balto helped hershe was wearing a scarf that resembledthe American flag and above her ear was areddaisy flower it was clipped on so that it would fall off.
After that Balto and Jenna looked in the mirror.
"Wow Jenna you look...beautiful." Balto said admiring her appearance.
Jenna giggled.
"Thank you Balto." Jenna said.
"Alright Jenna your ready?" Balto asked.
"Yes Balto I'm ready." Jenna said.
"Remember what I said yesterday Jen. I believe in you Jenna." Balto said.
Jenna nuzzled her mate one last time.
"Thank you Balto that means a lot." Jenna said.
"Oh wait I almost forgot." Balto said before he placed a micin Jenna's ear.
Balto then gave Jenna a kiss on the headand he told her good luck and went to the crowd.
Jenna then walked onto the stage.
Jenna gulped but then she saw Balto in the crowd and he mouthedto her "breath".
Jenna took a deep breath and she then started to sing.
"Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light, what so proudly as we hailed the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, Over the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?" Jenna
sang.
"And the rockets red glare and the bombs bursting in the air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there." Jenna sang her tone was getting higher.
"Oh does that star-spangled banner yet wave over the land of the free...and the home of the brave?" Jenna sang.
The crowd then applauded and cheered herwhen Jenna finished singing Jenna was crying with joy. She thenthen saw Balto walking up the stage to get her.
Balto then met her on the stage and he nuzzled her.
"Now that's my girl." Balto said.
Jenna smiled and yet she kissed gave Balto a kiss on the lips in front of the flashing cameras.
Once Balto and Jenna parted from the kiss all Jenna could say was one thing.
"Balto I loved you so much." Jenna said
"I love you too Jenna." Balto said.
