Heyyyy, so I love the whole teen pregnancy trope so when I heard about this story line with Amy I was intrigued even though I hadn't watched corrie for about a year! Any way this is my first fortay into the Corrie fandom (fun fact I actually wrote a fic about Sarah getting pregnant by Callum right after he was killed but by the time I got around to posting she was actually pregnant onTV and it ruined my idea lol) go easy on me please, reviews make me happy and im currently off for a week so might wrote more if im inspired

She couldn't be a mother, ok so biologically she could have a child, she was having a child but that didn't mean she could be a mother. She couldn't do the things a mother should, she didn't even know what it was like having a proper mother, her's sold her before she was ever born for gods sake! Ok, so she changed her mind and ultimately took Amy back but still, the thought was there.

Maybe she should have just left her, maybe she would have been better off as Patience Cropper, Amy would put money on the fact the child of Hayley and Roy wouldn't be pregnant at 14, no she'd spend her free time doing stuff like train spotting or ridiculously long jigsaws that seem to have no end. Becky was a good step-mum, Amy used to wish she was her mum, especially when the kids at school found out her real mum was in prison for murder! Michelle, was the best of her possible mothers, Amy was still annoyed her dad ended up messing up with Leanne but she's happy she got a brother out of it.

Is it any wonder that with her less than perfect genes she ended up pregnant at 14 years old by a boy that she couldn't bring home to meet the parents. A boy she didn't even really like, he was the psycho that bullied her cousin and shot her uncle with a paint gun but he was the cool guy, the rebel that seemed out of her reach but for some reason at that party he was all over her, she was stupid, she should have known it was just another way to get back at Simon.

She should have never gone to that party.

God you're an idiot Amy! Who gets pregnant on there first time, She was never having sex again, it just wasn't worth it.

She wasn't the first pregnant teen, she wasn't even the first pregnant teen on the street or the youngest but she was determined to be the smartest. She wasn't going to keep the baby like Sarah Platt and end up old and still living with her mother and working in the factory or even Faye Windass and give the baby to the father to raise floating in and out of the babies life whens convenient. No, Amy might be going through with the pregnancy but she had no intentions of keeping that baby. What was she meant to do scheduled the baby in between school and violin, no, if she wanted a life after this...mistake, she couldn't keep the baby.

Her parents on the other hand actually wanted the baby. They'd probably prefer that the whole thing didn't happen but they're willing to raise the child, some sort of second chance now that they're married and giving it a proper go of things, Amy was the tester kid and everyone especially Amy is hoping they learned from their mistakes with her.

It could be strange that she's gonna give birth to a baby that will become her brother or sister but in her family nothings really normal.

Short but hopefully sweet, I wrote this in half hour after been away from writing for a while, let me know what you think!
